View booklet.This booklet, The men remembered on the Pettistree and Loudham War Memorial who gave their lives in the Great War 1914 - 1919, was produced by Mike Watts of Pettistree in collaboration with Andy Pritchatt of Ufford who has researched the lives of men remembered on local War Memorials. Copies are available in St Peter and St Paul's church and from Mike Watts.


Ray Whitehand, a one time resident of Pettistree, has assembled a unique chronicle of the cottage in which his family lived from 1946 to 1988: From Potash to Pear Tree.

Among his other works about Pettistree are: The Early Census 1821 - 1841, The Mid Victorian Census 1851 - 1871 and The Final Victorian Census 1881 - 1901.


Pettistree with Loudham - A Village and its Heritage was written to mark the Millennium. Copies are available from Maggie Hallett.
