Pettistree
Church Room is a single-roomed redbrick building situated on the corner of Rogues
and Walnuts Lane. This is thought to have been at the edge of the tithe land
surrounding the church and is now part of the churchyard. It was used until
the 1980's for a Sunday school and for regular parish meetings but in recent
years has had very limited use as the Village Hall is more suitable for Village
use.
As a result of fundraising between 2007 and 2009 the porch area now has a toilet facility suitable for everyone, which was ready just in time for the Village Open Gardens.
The room is used for the quarterly Parochial Church Council meetings, Parish Council meetings and for occasional social gatherings associated with the church and village. It has also been used for village exhibitions.
