Pettistree Heritage Walks Leaflet

The Pettistree Heritage Walks leaflet was developed and designed by a group of local residents who were interested in sharing the history of our houses and lanes with visitors to the parish.  The enjoyment of Pettistree’s paths has been enhanced by this local knowledge and made walking round the parish a more enjoyable experience.

We are indebted to our County Councillor, Michael Bond, for giving a grant from his Locality Budget to publish the leaflet, together with a donation from our printers, Sharwards of Westerfield.  Pettistree Parish Council also helped to fund the way-markers and signs associated with the walks, whilst the expertise of members of Pettistree Heritage (the local history group) enabled the history of Pettistree to be brought alive in the walks.

Free copies of the leaflet can be found in Pettistree Church, The Greyhound public house in Pettistree, Wickham Market Post Office, Wickham Market Resource Centre, Suffolk Record Offices and local Tourist Information Centres.
