Conditions of Hire

• A £10.00 deposit will be charged for all General Hire Bookings. A £100 deposit for all 12 to 21 year old party bookings also supervision must be provided, 1 Adult per 10 Children.
• All evening hiring's finish by midnight.
• FIRE REGULATIONS insist that:
  1. Back door must be unbolted when hall is occupied (please bolt again on leaving)
  2. NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN HALL
  3. All exit doors shall be kept free of obstructions
  4. Emergency light over entrance door must be switched ON and switched OFF 
     after the event
• FOOD & HYGIENE: If food is being supplied at any function, it is the 'hirers' responsibility to ensure food & hygiene rules are adhered to; if any outside caterer is employed to cook and supply food to members of the public they should be registered and properly trained.
• HEALTH & SAFETY: There is a notebook in the First Aid Box to record any injuries etc that take place within the hall or car park (First Aid Box in the kitchen).
• BREAKAGES: Will be charged for.
• RUBBISH: There is no collection at the hall, please take rubbish home with you.
• LEAVING: Switch off kitchen and hall/heating meters. Check all windows and doors are secure.
• The hall must be left clean and tidy. It may be possible to clean the following morning providing the hall is available. This should be arranged with booking secretary. Please make sure the gate is closed when leaving and return keys PROMPTLY.
• It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that their own electrical equipment meets safety regulations.
• Please report any defects (e.g. loose floor boards) to the booking secretary.
